The don'ts are actually the opposite of the do's, of course.
You should do your best to stay away from whatever contaminates your faith.
Worldly friends, worldly music, TV junk, junk food, fizzy drinks, staying awake till late on the computer chatting only God knows what.
Lack of respect towards your family, not helping at home, giving bad testimony where you live and work.
You should use your time doing the do's instead of wasting it with the don'ts.
It's your call.

Pastor, just the word Straggle gives me the creeps. It's a "classification" of some pledges from the Sisterhood too.
If you're not making a difference and developing, you're straggling through life.
When I think of the word "straggler," I immediately think of a snail. Some people are like snails (figuratively speaking) because everything for them appears to be a burden and they find themselves in that same mediocre lifestyle year in and year out.
I agree that most of the times we waste time with the 'don'ts' and the sad part that its our life that we're wasting away. I had a very difficult time with making that clear difference between my priority (faith) and worldly distractions. I had to learn the hard way, its only when I hit rock bottom that I realized that I was wasting my time being consumed with worldly friends, worldly music, etc..

Yes i believe it is our call and it is up to us whether we excel or do bad in life. Many times i used to blame people and situations for my failures and alck of fruits in my life but I came to realise that it was because of my bad choices, laziness and lack of organisation.
