"How will I know who he/she is?" "Will we connect first time?" "Will I feel different?" "Will we have everything in common?" are questions that play over and over again in the minds of many young people.
There is only one solution to that, and this doesn't fail:
"However, when He, the Spirit of truth, has come,
He will guide you into all truth."
Jh 16:13
The Holy Spirit doesn't fail my friends. He is spot on. He nails it, big time.
If you have the Holy Spirit He will lead you to someone who is also spiritual. If someone who isn't of God intends to approach you in order to start a relationship with you, He will show you immediately.
And by the way, don't think that everyone in church is what they seem to be. Watch out!
Of course, if you're carnal chances are you'll attract meat, not spirit. Or do you think a spiritual person, filled with the Holy Spirit will risk his relationship with God because of you who is carnal? Quite hard to believe that.
Make sure that you first is filled with the Spirit of God. Then seek the qualities and attributes of the Holy Spirit in the other person. After making sure that you and the other person are on the same spiritual level, the next step would be checking the compatibility. It isn't enough to have the Holy Spirit and attend church. Future plans, career, even spiritual plans such us doing the work of God full time, must be analyzed. Even doing the Work of God as an assistant might be a deterrent in the relationship.
Don't hurry. Let Him guide you. That's why God has inspired the church to do the 21 Days Challenge. If the Spirit of God dwells in you, you have EVERYTHING.

Pastor Luke , your blog is so STRONG. It really clarifys some doubts that I have. Also when we seek God and don't feel anything and complain to God we are relaying on emotions and obvii Gods spirit won't dwell in a person heart that depends on feelings. We need to depened on GOD not man or emotions or anything JUST GOD ALONE.
really good blog tho Pastor Luke !
It is true, Pastor Luke...
Sometimes, we get so anxious about Love Life, that we may not consider the spiritual life of the other person...
Once, a bishop told us here in Minas, one thing that I keep in my mind... Before looking for the right person, we should BE the right person...
Thanks for the message...
God bless you!
Nothing is better than let GOD chose the right person for us.
We have to be patience and wait on Him.

Pastor you said all the right words! I use to think about it a lot. 'who is right for me?' but once the Holy Spirit dwell in me I am now guided by God, and nothing else can fail.
If only more youth realized this, what a blessing it is to have the Holy Spirit!
Pastor, this could not have been better said! And this is something I will be passing on to the youth I know in my YPG who ponder and analyze this part of their lives so much. The main focus is first receiving the Holy Spirit, because without His guidance, we're only setting ourselves up for failure. Amen!
this is a very true and importent blog i just hope tht every body will have this faith and not try 2 jump in to cuncutions just because the person in church is the right 1 all we need and a lot of ppl need is to have FAITH IN GOD
Yeah Pastor Luke man, we need to Establish that Relationship with God before anything else and get Married and surrender our lives to the Lord Jesus Christ and Establish this Marriage with God before anything else man, and by this I mean having the Holy Spirit of God to guide us and yeah man once we have this Relationship with God, Gods Holy Spirit, just as you said, everything else will be added on!!! God Bless you all and Stay Strong Because You Are Strong!!! Shea, you already know cuz!
