Metamorphoses - Conclusion

I can imagine the reaction you had when you read last week's message about metamorphoses. You probably thought, "Why on earth this woman transformed her body like that? She was so beautiful." You probably felt sorry for her too.

I won't get in to details about her bizarre looks. It's pretty much clear to me that she's lost and trying to overcome her past by changing OUTWARDLY first. It seems like the devil found a way to reveal his true colors, literally.

On the other hand, I have no doubt you felt disgusted by the strong images of Bryan Widener removing his tattoos, but also very much encouraged by the man's determination to eliminate his past in order to become a new man. He changed INWARDLY first.

LESSONMuch less is asked of us and we tend to say, 'it's too hard!'. One way or another you're transforming yourself, either for good or for bad.

And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God. - Rm 12:2

The renewing of your mind...

I think that's the key here to achieve anything we want in life. If we are stuck on our mindset or that of others, then this is what we should expect in life... to remain stuck.

Of course it's hard, But the beauty of it all is, in the end, you've been through the fire and came out of it refined and ready for ANYTHING! The best things don't come easy...” We're taking it by force”
This has to be the scripture that I love the most! I'm that valuable....I don't have to be conformed to this stinkin place :-) But I just can't sit back, I have to be the proof of HIS will. Perfect!

When we really want to change, it start getting hard, but their is where we truly have to show that we want to be transform for the good. If we give up we just stayed the same way. Its our choice on what we want to be transform into, and for that w also have to change the way we think.
