"You and Aaron are to count according to their divisions all the men in Israel who are twenty years old or more and able to serve in the army." Numbers 1.3

There are countless examples in the Bible of God CALLING young people for His service. 

Samuel, David, Solomon, Jeremiah, Daniel, Shadrach, Meshak, Abednego, Timothy, Jesus and many more.

This is your purpose, to serve God, to be a warrior and to be used by Him just like these great man were used.

They were not one more name among the crowd. They understood God's purpose for their lives. 

You are unique, just like them. God has chosen you. You didn't choose Him. You are privileged. 

Among thousands of youths in your school, neighborhood and town, you are the chosen one.

Or do you see it the other way around? Do you say, 'Why me? Why am I the only Christian in my class? Maybe I should just quit going to church and follow the crowd.'

Don't go to church (specially in the YPG) just because your parents go. Don't just tag along.

Do you realize that you are part of God's master plan?

Feeling Miserable

Read the article below. This might help you understand that many youths live in a fantasy world. Real life for them looks pretty miserable. What actions will you take after reading this?

"Life is meaningless for one in ten young people, an ‘alarming’ study has found.

They believe life is not worth living or has little or no purpose, according to the poll for the Prince’s Trust.

The ‘ significant core’  of the 16 to 25 year olds who feel this way is mainly among those not in education, work or training.

More than a quarter of those polled were depressed and less happy than when they were younger.

Almost half said they were often stressed and many did not have anything to look forward to or someone to discuss problems with."

New Name

You know that guy who always looks like he's on something? 

How about the one whose parents divorced? Or the father left? What's his name? 

And that girl who always looks depressed? 

People like to label each other by the things they see – or imagine they see. 

You may not even know who you truly are, but maybe you’ve just accepted the labels that others have stuck on you.  But for others to see you in a positive light, you need to see yourself through new eyes first.  You need to know what God sees when He looks at you.

Jacob was known as a cheater, a hustler, a deceiver, and he lived up to that name, big time.  But one day he wrestled with an angel all night, demanding a change, demanding the blessing of God. He was fed up with those labels, with who he had become.  He had the guts to fight for a blessing.  Then and there God changed his name to Israel: one who fights with God. 

"Your name will no longer be Jacob; From now on you will be called Israel." Gen. 32:28 

God will change who you are – not just with an outward name, but who you are inside.  But just like Jacob, your change has to begin with you, throwing off the old labels and your old self-image.  Each of us has to wrestle with God on our own, and maybe you’ve never done that in your life.  Now’s the time you can.  

January 14th, 2011 is The Night of a New Name, a YPG all night vigil from midnight till dawn nationwide.  We refuse to leave until we’re blessed by God. We'll have music, performances, testimonies, new members consecration and baptism in water for those who mean it when they say they want a new life. But best of all – we’re going to fight! Prepare for this day, only if you're ready for change.

Battle of Trenton

The day I heard of this story it inspired me. 

I mean, no one in the country really take time to speak and ponder on what this guys did. People are too busy celebrating 'christmas'. 

Well, if you read the story you'll notice that the English were defeated by George Washington and his soldiers on christmas. 

Isn't is interesting? The English was celebrating the holidays, thinking that the Americans would do the same, while Washington was devising an attack. 

And he succeeded. 

Anyway, I will let you read the story yourself. Hopefully you will be inspired to fight, even when the circumstances seem to be tough and against you. 


Remember to seize every opportunity, despite the 'weather conditions'.

Who's Controlling You?

Every young person likes to believe that he or she is independent, free spirited, and thinks for themselves.  

“My life is my life. Respect my choices. I do what I do because I want to”, they say.

This is the general philosophy of so many youths that are lost and confused and can’t see that something else is manipulating every feeling they have.  

Free and independent? Not a chance, not with a puppet master pulling the strings of their lives like a simple wooden puppet.

Friends, addiction, music, relationships, past hurts, etc; these are the strings. 

Pulling each of those strings, unseen and unhindered, is the puppeteer (devil).

You'll always be controlled one way or another.

 It's your decision to either have your strings attached to God or to something or someone else.

Cut your strings loose before it's too late.

It's your decision, if you don't control your life someone will.
