Have You Heard of Heartonite?

Isn't it somehow intriguing the fact that Superman, being the strongest super hero, chickens out when he sees a green stone? Why? Isn't he supposed to be SUPERman?

I mean, the Hulk doesn't have that problem. Actually, the angrier he gets, the stronger he becomes. There is nothing that weakens his powers. Anyways, that is another story.

What I'm trying to achieve here is a very simple analogy. The Superman apparently can withstand anything or anyone, except that wicked green stone.

Doesn't the same thing happen to young people nowadays?

The only thing we have to do is replace the kryptonite for the HEART. Hence the HEARTONITE.

Young people are so strong (1 Jn 2.14), bold, sharp, ready for anything. But when they listen to the heart rather than to the reason they become weak. They go from a strong-willed person to a sitting duck. The enemy can do to them whatever he wants, just like Superman's enemies do to him once he is under the effect of the kryptonite.

The solution is very simple: STAY WAY FROM YOUR HEART!

Sounds confusing right? How can one stay way from his own heart? It makes no sense. Well, I'm referring to the feelings and emotions that your heart produces that make you weak. Every time you follow your heart instead of your mind you become vulnerable, just like the big hero.

Use your brain guys, not your heart, otherwise the heart would be located in your skull and your brain in your chest.

Beyond the Limit

Ask yourself, ‘If this were my last day, would I want to be where I am today? What would my legacy be? It’s easy to forget that we will die one day, especially when we’re so young. So there’s a tendency to just let life happen instead of really living and being the best that we can be.

How many young people limit themselves by settling for the average? They go to university without a goal, thinking that knowledge alone will get them where they should be. True success comes when it’s coupled with wisdom from God and action! And yes -his principal applies even if you’ve never made it through college.

King Solomon once said, "I have seen princes on foot and servants on horses"(Eccl 10:7) meaning, it doesn’t matter how high you are in society, how popular you may be or which family you were born into. You may have come from a very deprived background, but when you have a big vision and the determination to make it happen, you will succeed.

Stop limiting yourself; God has given everyone a talent so take your talent, stock up on determination, add a massive dose of action then seal your success by making a partnership with God.

"Take your talent, stock up on determination,

add a massive dose of courage - it’s time to excel."

King David was the richest man in his time but he left no material inheritance for his son Solomon. He left him something far more important - his example of faith in God. Solomon never asked for riches from God but asked for wisdom and knowledge and he in turn became even richer than David ever was.

Be different; don’t fall into the trap of having an average life. Aim to be the best at what you do - what you enjoy - and with God on your side, what do you have to lose?

It’s time to step beyond your limitations - it’s time to excel. Are you ready to set a new path?

"Do you see a man who excels in his work? He will stand before kings; He will not stand before unknown men." (Proverbs 22.29)

Not For the Weak

Pay very close attention at what the verse below says:

"I have written to you, young men, because you are strong, and the word of God abides in you, and you have overcome the wicked one."
1 John 2:14

God is not questioning the strength of young people, He is affirming that they are strong by nature. This strength combined with His word makes you so strong that even the the devil (wicked one) can't put up with you.

Now, you must take in consideration that the devil is also aware of that and he'll do everything in his power to make weak.

How?, you may ask. He uses a family situation for instance. He'll convince you to leave the house, run away, take drugs to forget the problems, feed the hatred in your heart, kill the entire family.

He'll always play with love life. A girl here, a guy there, get pregnant and bang, you become weak, vulnerable.

He uses the lyrics of a particular music to exert control over you. He wants to make a follower, not a leader.

In order words, his job is to weaken your faith and self-esteem. He wants to defeat you in your mind. That's why he's a specialist in reminding you of your past. Your past holds you back.

If he manages to achieve all or at least one of these things you will be a puppet in his hands and what God intended from the beginning won't happen at all.

Take control of your life. You don't need people's approval. Live for God. Trust your future in His hands. Don't let the devil take advantage on you, BECAUSE YOU'RE STRONG!
